Visited the Plough Inn Towcester on Thursday 2nd February 2017 on a family day and night out in towcester We was staying the night in a local bnb as we was going racing to towcester races. Called in the plough a few times in the past. Highy recomend this pub the food and drinks are excellent. Ed the landlord runs a tight ship lovely pub to visit cant fault it always made welcome. As it was Thursday and steak night we tried the deal of 2 x steak meals and a Free bottle of wine cant fault anything. Nice pub nice setting if your ever in towcester give it a try you wont be disappointed. Roy Goodall from Chesterfield.

Decided to spend an afternoon/evening here with the girlfriend having some drinks followed by food with friends. Being an ale drinker I was delighted to see a choice of 4 real ales, 2 of them being guest ales. The beer is clearly well looked after as it looked and tasted great. The bar was busy where locals and non locals mix well. After a few drinks we went through to the restaurant. Table well presented, staff are attentive but not intrusive. A relaxed dinning atmosphere where you are not rushed so you can properly enjoy a meal and good conversation with company. Great choice of traditional pub food on the menu and a range of specials to choose from. The food came out in good time. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we will definitely be visiting again! Would 100% recommend.

Food was yummy, would definitely recommend. Nice atmosphere too. I've missed the place, over 10 years since I was behind the bar in there. Keep up the good work.
